Marvel's official adaptation of the 1981 Paramount/Disney film launches here, and Earl Norem's triptych cover sets a genuinely stirring tone — a robed young woman chained to a post, a lone spear-wielding warrior dwarfed beneath the massive, fire-lit visage of a fearsome horned dragon, and a brooding elder figure flanked by a skull.
