Dracula Lives #10

High above a fog-drenched city street — a police car and a lone figure visible far below — Dracula looms over a swooning blonde woman on a rooftop ledge, fangs bared and red-lined cape billowing against a sickly green sky. Luis Dominguez's painted cover work captures the Lord of Vampires in full predatory command, the taglines "A Woman in the Clutches of the Lord of Vampires" and "A City in the Grip of Terror…" setting an atmosphere of genuine dread. This January 1975 Marvel Monster Group magazine also brings together writer Doug Moench and artist Tony DeZuniga for "The Pit of Death, Part 1" — a promising start to what looks to be a suitably chilling tale.
