Double Image #4

Part of Image's anthology format, this 2001 issue of Double Image spotlights "The Bod" by Young and Heebink, and the cover sets a quietly compelling mood: a lone figure in jeans, cap, and messenger bag strides away from us down a sun-bleached Hollywood boulevard, a Walk of Fame star gleaming underfoot and palm trees lining the hazy street ahead. The brooding, cloud-streaked purple sky overhead gives the whole scene an undercurrent of tension that makes you want to follow that figure around the corner.
