“Reset”

Part of Marvel's mid-1990s "Punisher Rampage" initiative, this Alpha one-shot kicks off the "Over the Edge" storyline in emphatic fashion. The cover by Kerry Gammill and Tom Palmer puts the Punisher front and center — skull emblem prominent on his chest, wild-haired and wild-eyed — charging through a gauntlet of heavy machinery and gun barrels as neon-green energy crackles all around him. It's a frenetic, kinetic image that sets a fittingly intense tone for Larry Hama's story "Reset," brought to life inside by Gammill, Tom Morgan, Tom Palmer, and colorists Christie Scheele and Ian Laughlin.
