Dotty Dripple Comics #3

Harvey Comics' cheerful family humor series returns with issue #3, and the cover says it all: a boy in a yellow shirt goes tumbling in a spectacular splash of water while a blonde girl in a polka-dot blouse looks on in wide-eyed alarm, a bar of soap flying through the air and a small brown dog caught up in the sudsy chaos. "America's Funniest Family" lives up to its billing in this December 1948 entry, with Buford Tune's lively linework wringing every drop of slapstick out of what appears to be a very bad bath day.
