Harvey Comics' "America's Laugh-a-Second Family" is in fine form in this June 1952 entry, with Buford Tune's cover capturing pure domestic chaos: Horace is being dragged horizontal across the lawn by a wildly overpowered lawnmower — complete with a "BANG! PUTT! PUTT!" engine and a scrambling spotted dog — while Dotty leans out from the porch with the deadpan verdict, "I told Horace that speed boat motor wouldn't work on the mower!"
