Boxing champ, the Great Willy, is paid by the Organisation to win and lose matches. Feeling down after a loss, he meets and falls in love with Rose. They soon marry and Rose discovers Willy is a fake. He becomes determined to prove himself for her, despite the risk of defying the Organisation.
