Donjon Zenit #4

This Dutch edition of Joann Sfar and Lewis Trondheim's beloved Donjon series brings the fourth Zenit volume — subtitled Toverkunsten en Tegenspoed ("Magic Arts and Misfortune") — to Dutch-language readers. The cover plunges us straight into chaos: a green dragon swoops aggressively through billowing flames while a hapless duck-like hero tumbles helplessly through the air, clutching what appears to be a bouquet, feathers flying in every direction. It's a wonderfully absurd snapshot of the series' signature blend of fantasy adventure and comic misfortune, rendered in Sfar and Trondheim's characteristically loose, expressive style.
