In this 2021 Dutch-language volume from Silvester, the Donjon universe's twilight era comes to life under the title "Het hoge noorden," with Joann Sfar and Lewis Trondheim at the helm and Alfred handling both pencils and inks on the cover. That cover delivers an arresting scene: a stout, pale reptilian warrior crouches at center, flanked by a feline figure in a flowing yellow dress and a red rabbit-like creature wrapped in bandages, while a dense crowd of monstrous beings looms ominously in the shadowy background. It's a wonderfully eccentric image that captures the darkly comedic, creature-filled spirit Donjon fans have come to love.
