“Paraplyen”

"Paraplyen" sees Donald Duck, content with his humble life as a peanut vendor, puzzled by Dolly’s growing curiosity about his choices—especially when she decides to tag along on a road trip with Anton instead. Meanwhile, one of Skrue’s risky stock maneuvers threatens to leave Donald jobless, forcing him into a surprising deal with Anton: in exchange for helping Donald seize Skrue’s fortune, Anton earns the right to date Dolly for a full year—no objections from Donald. Written by Andreas Pihl and Nina Svendsrud, with art by Colomer, this 2000 Egmont issue from Norway delivers a quirky, character-driven twist on loyalty and ambition, all wrapped in a cover by Colomer.
