Donald Duck & Co #35/1997
"Sukkerstangen" marks a delightfully chaotic chapter in the Donald Duck universe, spotlighting a mysterious meteorite from space that crashes at the South Pole and ends up in Scrooge’s Money Bin. When the object activates a force field, it lifts the entire bin into orbit—just as it destroys Scrooge’s new twin towers—prompting Scrooge, Donald, and the nephews to launch a rescue mission in an old moon rocket built by Petter. Written by Don Rosa and Harald Dyrkorn and illustrated by Don Rosa with his signature precision, this 1997 issue blends whimsy and adventure with a classic Scandinavian touch, all wrapped in a cover by Don Rosa.
