Donald Duck & Co #3/1999
In "Høydeskrekk," Donald and his nephews find themselves stranded in the middle of a desert after a misadventure with a bus driver, leaving them racing against time to make it to the annual El Toro footrace—though the odds are stacked high. Written by Janet Gilbert and Harald Dyrkorn, with art by Colomer and inks by Colomer, this 1999 Egmont comic captures the classic chaos of the Duck family with a touch of Nordic humor. The cover by Michel Nadorp perfectly captures the desert’s heat and the trio’s growing panic.
