Donald Duck & Co #16/1992
In "Motoria," Magica De Spell tricks a troll into lending her a cursed ring that brings misfortune to its wearer—meant for Scrooge, but it ends up in Donald Duck’s hands. With the ring’s ill effects mounting, Donald, Scrooge, and the boys must journey to the mysterious land of Vindalaya to undo the spell. Written by Paul Halas, Jack Sutter, and Harald Dyrkorn, and illustrated by Colomer with inks by Colomer, this 1992 Egmont story blends classic Disney chaos with a touch of Nordic folklore.
In "Motoria," Donald Duck takes on the task of repairing an old, clunky car, only to be haunted by a surreal dream of a world where cars are alive and sentient. After the dream, he treats the vehicle with newfound care, discovering that even machines can feel a kind of life of their own.
In "En hund etter ferie," Mikke and his cousins head off on a hotel vacation, leaving Pluto behind in a kennel. When he escapes, the dog stumbles upon a group of thieves who’ve already ransacked the family home—only to find himself in the middle of a surprise rescue mission.
When Magica de Spell tricks a troll into lending her the cursed Bomringen—a ring that brings misfortune to its wearer—she sets off a chain of chaos that lands squarely on Donald Duck. With the ring now in his hands and Skrue, Donald, and the boys on the trail, they must journey to the distant village of Vindalaya to undo the spell before the curse takes hold.
