Donald Duck & Co #14/1993
In "Blåøyet," Magica de Spell surprises Skrue with a cup of tea made from the root of compassion, then spirits him away to Nuna in the Himalayas. There, Skrue is to begin training in a remote monastery and eventually take monastic vows. Written by Robert Klein, Espen Hagerup, and Henning Hagerup, with art by Tino Santanach, and featuring a cover by Daniel Branca, this 1993 issue offers a quiet yet compelling journey into discipline and self-discovery.
In "Den glade giver," Jo is whisked away by Magica to the Himalayas, where he’s to train in a remote monastery and take vows of asceticism. The journey promises transformation, but whether he’ll embrace the path or find his own way remains uncertain.
