Skrue bygger en undersjøisk tunnel mellom Andeby sentrum og Andeøya. Det graves fra begge sider, men når gjennombruddet skal finne sted, skjer nifse ting. Når Skrue, Donald og guttene skal undersøke hva som forgår, raser tunnelen og de sperres inne under jorden. De blir reddet av moldvarpfolket og ført til en underjordisk by i Moldvarpland med forbud mot å vende tilbake til jordens overflate.
