Skrue har lånt bort hytten ved Storsjøen til Onkel Jubalon. Når han kommer på at han har gjemt et viktig slektsdokument i en sigar, tar han med Donald og guttene på jakt etter slektningen. Dokumentet viser at Jubalon ikke er fetteren til Skrue, men halvbroren. Under innsjøen ligger et hemmelig senter for utvikling av luftfartøyer og laserteknikk.
