Donald Duck & Co #10/1964
In "Det store klistermysteriet," Langbein, recently dismissed from every job on record due to his alphabetically unremarkable résumé, lands a surprising new role as a zoo keeper—only to find himself entangled in a baffling case of disappearing glue. Written by Carl Fallberg and Vivi Aagaard and illustrated with energetic flair by Paul Murry, this 1964 gem from Hjemmet / Egmont features a cover by Carl Barks and Nils Rydahl, blending whimsy and mystery in a classic Donald Duck & Co adventure.
In "Det store klistermysteriet," Scrooge is baffled when the Beagle Boys start spending money like never before—until Donald and the nephews reveal their latest invention: super-sticky glue. With the Beagles using a vacuum tube to siphon cash from the Money Bin, the ducks must rely on the glue to catch the thieves in a sticky situation.
Jo, the perpetually unemployed Langbein finds himself out of work after being fired from every job listed alphabetically—right down to Z, the one he never had a chance to try. With nowhere else to turn, he lands a job as a night watchman at the zoo, where his past misadventures might just come back to haunt him.
