Volume 22 of the beloved Belgian series finds the chubby, snorkel-wearing Dokus floating contentedly in a swimming pool on a black-and-yellow inflatable ring, waving a little flag while a red-haired girl lounges exasperatedly in a deck chair nearby — a perfectly sunny setup for summer mischief. Godi's cover art is full of warmth and comic energy, with scattered books and notebooks hinting that schoolwork is, as ever, the last thing on Dokus's mind.
