The fifteenth volume of this beloved Franco-Belgian adventure series, subtitled Le Yen intrépide, bursts with the colorful chaos the series does so well. The cover — by Tot, Mojojojo, and Ancestral Z — is an absolute delight, centering on a wide-eyed, round white owl-like creature barreling forward on a snowboard, surrounded by a wild cast of characters wielding fishing rods, weapons, and all manner of quirky gear as they tumble through a snowy landscape. If this 2011 entry is any indication, readers are in for a ride that's equal parts charming and wonderfully unpredictable.
