Doctor Strange of Asgard #2

History

The series was written by Irish novelist Derek Landy — best known outside comics for the Skulduggery Pleasant book series — and drawn by Brazilian artist Carlos Magno, who had previous Marvel credits on Thunderbolts, Guardians of the Galaxy, and Captain America. Editor Alanna Smith shepherded the book, which launched in March 2025 as a direct narrative outgrowth of the One World Under Doom event and Al Ewing's then-current Thor run. Geoff Shaw provided the main cover for issue #2, with variant covers from G. Godtail, Dan Panosian, and Chris Giarrusso (the latter as a 1:50 wraparound connecting piece); colors throughout the interior were handled by Espen Grundetjern, and lettering by VC's Cory Petit. The five-issue miniseries concluded with issue #5, which was simultaneously published as the landmark Doctor Strange (Vol. 7) #450 one-shot.
