Part of Marvel's 2018 "Damnation" crossover event, this issue finds Doctor Strange caught in a surreal, high-stakes gamble — and Mike Del Mundo's cover captures that tension beautifully, depicting a costumed figure tumbling helplessly through a swirling vortex of oversized dice, playing cards adorned with macabre imagery, and casino chips bearing eerie faces. The psychedelic composition makes the stakes feel genuinely cosmic, as if reality itself has been shuffled into a dangerous new deck. Donny Cates and Niko Henrichon continue their run on "Bleeding Neon" here, promising the kind of weird, boundary-pushing sorcery this creative team does so well.
