Doctor Strange #386

Part of Marvel's 2018 "Damnation" crossover event, this issue kicks off "Bleeding Neon: Part One" with a cover that says everything about the strange game Stephen Strange has found himself in. Niko Henrichon's artwork places a wide-eyed Doctor Strange at a poker table surrounded by a crowd of demons, monsters, and a grinning horned demoness bearing a tray of skulls and snakes — chips stacked, cards dealt, and hellfire literally creeping across the felt. Writer Donny Cates and artist Henrichon make it immediately clear that the stakes in this hand are anything but ordinary.
