Doom enlists the aid of the Circus of Crime to help him invade an ancient temple looking for a map which he claims holds the key to eternal life. Livewire is enchanted by the Enchantress who tries to pump him for information about Doom and the map. Doom and the Circus battle the Masters of Evil until Doom knocks them out. They follow the Executioner back to the Enchantress and the Livewire. Doom explains that the map was a ruse and he was able to achieve limited immortality from the stones of the temple. He decides to team up with the Masters but takes along Princess Python.
