Part of DC's 2010 First Wave initiative, this second issue of Doc Savage drops readers into "The Vendetta Against Doc Savage" with a cover by J. G. Jones that crackles with tension — a man in the foreground reels backward amid armored, weapon-bearing soldiers while lightning tears through the night sky above, and a striking blonde woman looms large in the background near a "Pat Savage" marquee sign.
