The eleventh volume of Djinn arrives in this 2013 Italian edition from Alessandro Editore, subtitled Un'Eterna Giovinezza — "An Eternal Youth" — a title that lends an air of mystery and longing to the whole affair. The cover presents a young woman with cascading auburn hair, dressed in an ornate green and gold outfit, gazing out from an elegant archway toward the domed, sun-drenched architecture of what appears to be an Indian palace. It's a beautifully composed image — intimate yet vast — that perfectly captures the exotic, sensuous atmosphere the Djinn series by Dufaux and Mirallès is known for.
