Disney Villains: Maleficent #2

Dynamite's 2025 series devoted to Disney's most formidable sorceress continues with "Chapter Two: The Cursed Tree," and this cover by Paulina Ganucheau sets a fittingly dark tone. Maleficent looms at the center, glowing staff in hand and yellow eyes gleaming, while three pale, stone-like figures — drained of color and seemingly helpless — surround her against a deep crimson sky tangled with shadowy branches. It's a beautifully composed image of absolute power, and with Theo Stultz handling the interior art, lettering, and colors, this second issue looks to be just as atmospheric as the first.
