Disney's Aladdin #10

The cover of this 1995 Marvel title says it all: Aladdin scrambles across a giant red-and-black chessboard, desperately clutching a blue chess piece that has the Genie's grinning face — and the Genie is pleading, "Don't sacrifice me, Al!" Surrounded by towering gold and blue chess pieces, the scene perfectly captures the playful tension between the two friends that makes this series so charming. With a story titled "Holiday for the Genie" and cover pencils by Rick Hoover and inks by Jeff Albrecht, issue #10 looks like a delightful addition to any Aladdin fan's collection.
