Part of Fantagraphics' ongoing celebration of Disney's golden-age cartoonists, this 2025 volume spotlights the work of Paul Murry, whose cover sets the tone perfectly: Super Goof crashes through a vault door while a shadowy villain in a top hat clutches a cuckoo clock, Mickey Mouse sits tied to a chair nearby, and Goofy himself looks on in wide-eyed alarm. The whole scene crackles with that loose, slapstick energy Murry brought to Disney comics, and "The Strange Case of Dr. Syclocks" promises exactly the kind of cheerful mayhem that title suggests.
