Written by Janet Gilbert and brought to life with expressive art by Giorgio Cavazzano, this 2021 Fantagraphics issue features a cover by James Silvani.
In "Mrs. Beakley's Secret Love," Baritone Beagle finds himself unexpectedly smitten after a clumsy safe-cracking attempt at the Money Bin introduces him to the mysterious Mrs. Beakley. When Scrooge upgrades the vault with a voice-activated lock, the Beagle Boys see a chance to exploit Baritone’s charm—using his voice to sing the password, though not all of them are prepared for the complications that come with love and loyalty.
