Charlton's Hanna-Barbera spin-off puts the prehistoric pup front and center in this 1973 all-new issue, with cover art by Frank Roberge capturing a wonderfully chaotic moment: a frazzled Fred Flintstone reclines in his stone-age easy chair while an affectionate Dino — apparently moonlighting as a television set, complete with a branch antenna and dials — smothers him with licks and hearts. It's a charming, goofy image that perfectly sells the warm but exasperated dynamic between Bedrock's most lovable dinosaur and his long-suffering owner.
