“Der arme reiche Mann”

In "Der arme reiche Mann," Scrooge McDuck finds himself outmaneuvered when the Beagle Boys build a structure right next to his money bin, threatening to drain his fortune. With quick thinking, he secretly moves his wealth to an old underwater reservoir, but the Beagle Boys aren’t done—now they plot to destroy a dam to flood his hidden stash. Written by Carl Barks and Erika Fuchs, with art, inks, and colors by Carl Barks, this 1966 classic showcases the masterful storytelling and detailed artwork that define the golden age of Disney comics. The cover, also by Carl Barks, captures the tension with a striking, dynamic scene.
