The fourth volume of Baru's Die Sputnik-Jahre series arrives from Carlsen Comics in 2004, sporting a wonderfully energetic cover — a scrappy young boy wearing rabbit ears charges forward, waving a large red flag bearing a hammer and sickle while dragging what appears to be a sack along the ground. The subtitle "Wumm! Wumm! Haut sie alle um!" crackles with the same playful, rebellious spirit that leaps off Baru's cover artwork. If the bold red cover and the kid's fierce, wild-eyed grin are any indication, this is a series with real personality and punch.
