Die Spinne Extra #3
In "Das Erscheinen Razors," Spider-Man, Razorback, and Flash Thompson follow the trail of Brother Power and Sister Sun to uncover their leader, the Hate-Monger—only to find themselves ensnared in a trap before they can learn the truth.
In "Nur ein Leben...", Spider-Man races against time across New York City to deliver a life-saving antidote to a dying man, unaware that Medusa is also in pursuit—her own urgent need for the same cure placing her directly in his path. The city becomes a high-stakes battlefield of desperation, where every second counts and choices have irreversible weight.
In "Der Käfer kommt," the Beetle's criminal network launches a coordinated wave of chaos, overwhelming the city's police force and leaving the precinct nearly deserted—perfect cover for a daring heist targeting the evidence room. With the streets in turmoil and the authorities stretched thin, the Beetle moves in, poised to steal something of immense value from behind locked doors.
In "Zu den Sternen!", the High Evolutionary faces a dire crisis on Wundagore II as his New Men descend into primal chaos, turning on him. Desperate, he turns to the one force he believes might restore order—the Hulk—whom he captures and brings to his world in a bid to reclaim control.
In "Eine Welt, die er nicht wollte...", the Hulk, caught mid-transformation during transport to Wundagore II, reverts to Bruce Banner—only to find himself face-to-face with the High Evolutionary. Though disappointed by the lack of gamma-powered might, the Evolutionary sees potential in the frail human and offers a radical path: to evolve Banner a million years into humanity’s future, reshaping him into something new.
In "Was ich geschaffen habe...", Bruce Banner faces his darkest hour as the High Evolutionary prepares to evolve him into something beyond human. With the New Men attacking to stop the experiment, Banner transforms into the Hulk, only to find himself locked in battle against the very creations the Evolutionary once shaped. As the creator realizes his own mortality, he makes a final, desperate choice—evolving himself into a being beyond time and form, unraveling his creations and dissolving into the cosmos. Back on Earth, the Hulk awakens with no memory of the ordeal, still haunted by the weight of what he’s become.
In "Wendepunkt," Betty mourns the absence of Bruce, unaware he’s secretly living under a disguise, struggling with his own turmoil. When he finally sheds his façade and transforms into the Hulk, he erupts from his hotel room in a burst of rage—only to leap toward a mysterious "flying saucer" in the sky, hoping to escape Earth. What he brings crashing down isn’t alien craft, but the Silver Surfer, setting off a collision of destinies neither expected.
In "Wer den Silver Surfer angreift...", the Hulk, convinced the Silver Surfer is an alien threat, launches a furious assault on the cosmic being—only to be effortlessly subdued. The Surfer, intrigued by the gamma-ravaged hero's rage, probes his mind and learns the truth behind his transformation. As the Surfer prepares to heal Dr. Banner, Hulk awakens to see the act as betrayal—and strikes again. Frustrated, the Surfer departs, leaving the Hulk vowing to hunt him down and force a journey beyond Earth.
