In "Das Treffen der Geister," Professor Power pushes Charles Xavier to revive his comatose son Matthew by forcibly reigniting the psychic abilities of the villain Mentallo. As Xavier battles Mentallo on the astral plane, Spider-Man faces off against the mercenary Fixer in a brutal, grounded clash. Though both heroes emerge victorious, Matthew remains trapped in the psychic storm, his mind slipping further from reach as his father watches helplessly.
