In "Der Tag des Vernichters!", Thor fights for his life against the overwhelming might of the Destroyer, while Loki, fearing the entity’s power, secretly calls upon Karnilla, the Norn Queen, to awaken Odin from the Odinsleep. As Odin stirs and rushes to aid his son, Thor refuses help, determined to conquer the threat alone. Though the Temple of Darkness lies in ruins and Thor’s hammer is shattered, Odin is filled with pride at his son’s courage. But victory brings retribution—Odin summons Loki, furious at his interference, and condemns him to servitude under Ularic, the Royal Warlock.
