Die Schlümpfe #3

Volume 3 of Die Schlümpfe zeroes in on Schlumpfine herself, and Peyo's cover sets the tone perfectly: a Smurf holding out a generous bouquet of colorful flowers — daisies, tulips, poppies, and more — while Schlumpfine, arms crossed and expression decidedly unimpressed, looks on with characteristic spirit. It's a charming, lighthearted image that captures the dynamic energy Peyo brought to these beloved little blue characters in 2011, with story contributions from Yvan Delporte and Delia Wüllner-Schulz rounding out the creative team.
