Die grossen Panzerschlachten #4
Part four of Finix Comics' Die grossen Panzerschlachten series brings the thunder of the Western Front to life with "Marne 1918," written by Vincent Brugeas with art by Marco Bianchini. The cover, illustrated and inked by Bianchini, is dominated by a WWI-era tank firing its cannon at close range, muzzle blast blazing orange against a smoke-filled sky dotted with observation balloons, while helmeted soldiers crouch amid barbed wire in the foreground. It's a tense, atmospheric composition that captures the grinding, mechanized nature of armored warfare in the final year of the Great War.
