In "Stelzen-Mann trabt wieder an!", Matt, still operating as Mike Murdock, finds himself caught in a chaotic courtroom showdown when the defendant Leap-Frog, under defense attorney Foggy’s guidance, suddenly dons one of his signature jumping boots and makes a desperate bid for freedom. As the trial erupts into chaos, the escape attempt ends in a broken leg—only for Daredevil to pursue the fleeing man, colliding head-on with Stilt-Man. The Masked Marauder, ever the enigma, intervenes, not to stop Daredevil, but to rescue the fallen Stilt-Man from the clutches of Hornhead.
