In "DD dreht durch!", Daredevil and Gladiator are captured by the Marauder and taken to his base, where he attempts to harness Daredevil’s powers to fuel his Tri-Man. When that fails, they’re transported to a European movie set recreating the Roman Coliseum, where the Maggia’s leaders are gathered. Forced into an arena battle, the two heroes clash—until a caged lion escapes, and Daredevil saves Gladiator from it. The moment shifts everything, leaving Gladiator unwilling to fight and eventually taking a job with the Maggia, while Daredevil walks away, the outcome of their clash still echoing.
