This fourth volume of the German-language series collects the Marsupilami adventure 'Der Krater der Kakteen' (The Cactus Crater), originally published in French. The story follows the long-tailed, mischievous creature and its human companions as they explore a mysterious crater filled with giant cacti, encountering both natural wonders and dangers in the South American jungle. Published by Carlsen Comics in 1990, this edition continues the classic Franco-Belgian comic tradition by André Franquin and his team.
A 1990 German-language issue of Die Abenteuer des Marsupilamis features the story "Der Krater der Kakteen," written by Yann and Peter Müller and illustrated by Batem, with inks and colors by Batem and Vittorio Leonardo, respectively. The cover, also by Batem, presents the tale’s distinctive visual style. The story centers on the Marsupilami and his companions in a surreal, jungle-based adventure.
