Dick Tracy Monthly #23

Nov 1987 · Blackthorne · 2.00 USD; 2.75 CAD

In this 1987 installment of Dick Tracy Monthly, Chester Gould delivers a tense, character-driven story as Empty Williams takes refuge in a children's treehouse after a tragic crime, leading to a violent standoff with police. With Tracy on the verge of fatherhood, the arrival of his newborn is marked by a quiet moment of humor and warmth—Junior driving a squad car to the hospital, and the naming of the baby Bonny Braids, much to Crewy Lou’s delight. Gould’s signature art and storytelling shine throughout, capturing both the grim stakes and the human moments in the world of Dick Tracy.
