Dick Tracy Monthly #16 (1987) delivers a tense, tightly wound story from the legendary Chester Gould, who wrote, drew, and inked every page. When radio host Ted Tellum is taken hostage by the cunning Wormy, a shocking twist unfolds live on air that catches the criminal off guard. Meanwhile, the Tracy family’s new start takes a dangerous turn when Blowtop retaliates against the family by setting a deadly trap in their home—leading to a harrowing escape and a shocking disappearance. The cover, also by Gould, captures the moment of high tension with his signature sharp style.
