Dick Tracy Monthly #14
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis February 1949 Dell issue puts the square-jawed detective front and center — quite literally — as Dick Tracy, in his trademark yellow suit and green hat, leans out of his car window in a tense face-to-face confrontation with a nervous-looking man in a plaid jacket clinging to the vehicle's door. The city backdrop and the urgency on both men's faces give the scene a street-level energy that's instantly engaging. A fine slice of Chester Gould's hard-boiled world, offered at just ten cents a copy.
