Corny is hit and killed by a truck as she leaves the police station after being released on bail. Sam goes undercover to verify the location of the stolen furs. Rughead turns on his fence and takes all of the furs from the fence's vault. Tracy and Sam locate the warehouse shortly after. They spot Rughead's truck and give chase. The truck crashes. The furs are recovered, but there is no sign of Rughead.
