Diary Loves #5
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDiary Loves #5 from Quality Comics captures the gentle romance of 1950 with a striking photo cover featuring actress Jean Wallace — dressed in a soft pink ensemble with matching hat and a delicate lace-trimmed parasol — gazing dreamily from what appears to be a balcony, taken from her RKO Radio Picture The Man on the Eiffel Tower. The red cover, framed with charming heart-shaped lock motifs, perfectly suits the title's promise of "glimpses into the intimate secrets of girls in love." With a story titled "Hearts in the Clouds" inside, this is a lovely snapshot of postwar romance comics at their most sweetly optimistic.
