Dr. Fern Reston fantasizes about the dashing, masculine bandit Buck Tyler, rejecting the romantic approaches of her older colleague Dr. David Carlton. Buck compels Fern to treat him for a gunshot wound and convinces her to join him in Central America, where he is leading a revolt against a dictator. However, once there, Fern discovers Buck is brutal and ruthless. She returns to the USA and the arms of Dr. Carlton.
