Harvey Comics' Devil Kids Starring Hot Stuff #5 (March 1963) puts the little red devil front and center in a wonderfully absurd scene — Hot Stuff stands wrapped in a soaking wet yellow towel, flames flickering around his head, while a leaky sink drips a puddle onto the floor beside his abandoned trident. Warren Kremer's warm, expressive linework gives the tiny devil a perfectly exasperated expression that says everything without a word.
