Destiny Gate #2

The second issue of Top Cow and Image's Destiny Gate arrives with a cover that pulls you straight into dread — a figure plunges downward, arms outstretched, toward a cluster of grasping undead hands and a half-buried skull rising from the earth below. The composition, with a dim forest glimpsed above and the cold blue pallor of those reaching limbs, captures a real sense of helpless, vertiginous horror. Cady, Obari, Gough, and Peteri are building something genuinely unsettling here, and this 2023 issue makes a strong case for following wherever this series leads.
