Despicable Deadpool #298

Part of Marvel Legacy's "The Marvel Universe Kills Deadpool" arc, issue #298 arrives with a cover that practically bursts off the page — a massive, red-armored bruiser charges straight at the viewer through a cloud of rubble and debris, while Deadpool himself perches on the behemoth's shoulders with characteristic nonchalance, swords in hand. Mike Hawthorne's linework gives the scene tremendous kinetic energy, packing every corner with destruction and dust. It's a wonderfully absurd image that captures the Merc with a Mouth at his chaotic best.
