From L'Association comes Desh, a 2018 graphic work by Tofépi that carries the quiet, understated confidence of the best European independent comics. The cover sets an immediate tone: two small figures in traditional patterned skirts walk away from us across a sparse, open landscape, rendered in delicate monochrome line work against a bold violet background.
